Russian as a Second Language for Beginners

This electronic application for Russian as a second language (RSL) is presented in the original format of a new interactive electronic textbook. It fulfills requirements for lessons in Russian as a second language and provides a variety of exercises in reading, speaking, listening and writing. Each text is accompanied by a tutorial audio file, all of the instructions and exercises are automatically translated into an intermediary language (English). Exercises are presented in a method of tests used to teach the language as well as check understanding. Rules to remember are well illustrated.

A special feature of this book is that you can work on it, both independently and under the guidance of a teacher. It can be used in a class, a small group or at home in any learning environment. Many tasks contain elements of games.

This tutorial is aimed at level A1 (similar to the ELP elementary level), including both the most commonly used language material and elemental cultural studies. The entire material is broken up into sections, step by step.

The content of this textbook implements communication, speech, language and cultural abilities. While working on this training course, users form skills of active and fluent speaking in Russian, the ability to cope in different language situations.
